Ok, we've had a fantastic year together. Take a moment to celebrate with us.

Here are some of the most memorable moments this year:

Chatting with Aussie Schools

This year, I've loved connecting with Australian schools and customers through webinars.

Together with Taylor Made Sales and Brenton Harty from PLC Melbourne, we had a frank and unfiltered discussion on the real challenges Australian schools are facing now and what lies ahead in 2026. A truly top-shelf discussion that I'm excited to have more of next year.

We also launched Futureproof EDU in the later half of this year. We ran two sessions on protecting school communications and securing digital workspaces. I'm excited to keep these sessions going in 2026.

Connecting and Giving Back

Back in May, Paul Murray (aka P2), Dustin, Tarscha, Paul Hart (aka P3) and I had a blast chatting with school IT leaders at AISNSW about all things cyber across school IT in Australia. It was a great opportunity as a team to connect with so many customers and the wider independent schools’ technology cohort. We'll 100% be back in 2026!

Later in the year, we took the same conversations on the road at QISS on the Gold Coast.

Across the year, we also had the opportunity to give back to our local community by supporting and sponsoring several local charities and groups, including:

Teenage Adventure Camps (sponsoring 7 children)
Broadwater Rotary Circus Quirkus (sponsoring 10 children)
Palm Beach Lions 2025 World Festival of Magic (sponsoring 12 children)
The Trinity Rowing Program
Sanctuary Cove Golf Pro’s Shootout

Building Lumara

Behind the scenes, we've been work hard evolving our SecOps offering and thus Lumara was born! Better visibility across your environment, faster response times, and direct support from our SOC team. I can't wait to tell you more about it in 2026.

A Fun Little Win

In October, we picked up the Gold Coast Business Excellence Award in the IT and Digital Business category. Kim, Dustin, P2, and I had a great time at the event, connecting with other talented Gold Coast businesses doing amazing work in our community.

We're Queenslanders through and through, and we're really proud of what we've built here on the Gold Coast.
