Introducing the Lumara Fabric API: Connect security intelligence with your systems

Today we're pleased to announce a small but significant milestone for those customers looking to integrate their unique security intelligence back into their ITSM systems.

The Lumara Fabric API is live. It gives customers a secure way to connect Lumara SecOps Cloud intelligence with their existing reports, dashboards, workflows and internal systems. At launch, the API provides access to relevant monitoring data from Lumara Shadow.

An application programming interface (API) allows different software systems to communicate directly. The Lumara Fabric API provides another way to access and use intelligence gathered by our sovereign Security Operations Centre (SOC).

A direct connection to your monitoring data

Lumara Shadow monitors for breach records, dark web mentions and infostealer exposures connected to your organisation. Customers currently receive this intelligence through reports and advisories prepared by our SOC.

The Lumara Fabric API does not replace those reports or the guidance that accompanies them. It gives approved members of your technical team a direct way to retrieve relevant data automatically, when and where they need it.

Through the API, your team can access:

  • Breach records connected to your organisation

  • Dark web mentions

  • Infostealer exposures linked to monitored identities and domains

  • News and social media mentions, where you have the External Risk and Reputational add-on

This information can be integrated into the tools and processes your organisation already uses. For example, your security team could bring current credential-exposure information into an internal dashboard or workflow, helping the team review and respond using its existing processes.

Each data source also reports when it was last updated. This provides important context when reviewing the results and helps your team confirm that its monitoring information is current, including when no new exposures have been identified.

Access is controlled and auditable

Making security information easier to use should not make it less secure.

Every Lumara Fabric API key is restricted to the organisation it belongs to and the data included in its approved access. Access is denied by default and granted deliberately. A key belonging to one organisation cannot retrieve another customer’s information.

Sensitive information, including exposed credentials and personal data, remains redacted by default. Your team can confirm that an exposure exists without automatically passing sensitive details into every connected system. Full details are provided only where access has been expressly requested and approved.

The Lumara Fabric API runs on Australian infrastructure, and we log every query to support accountability and audit requirements. These controls align with the standards applied across Lumara SecOps Cloud.
