LinkedIn App Extension
Zimbra Collaboration Server 7.0’s newest Zimlet lets users quickly mouse over a contact and look them up in LinkedIn. It’s a convenient way to find additional contact information or to invite them to join your network without ever leaving the Zimbra web interface. (You can access this Zimlet via the Zimlets panel, which is under the Folders panel on the left hand side of the Zimbra Web client).
File Sharing
VMware Zimbra 7 includes access to Zimbra’s Briefcase functionality, which allows users to easily share or store files in the cloud. Zimbra 7 enables lightweight document management with added control directly from within Zimbra. You can upload and access multiple versions of a Briefcase file or document, and new “check-in” and “check-out” controls further simplify document management and collaboration.
WebEx App Extension
Zimbra Collaboration Server officially ships with a WebEx Zimlet installed that allows users the ability to save a Calendar meeting also as a WebEx meeting without having to ever login to WebEx. Zimbra does the work automatically and provides the dial-in information and WebEx URL to peers who receive the Zimbra meeting invite. (You can access this Zimlet via the Zimlets panel, which is under the Folders panel on the left hand side of the Zimbra Web client).
More User self service tools
Users can now self-restore previously deleted email messages from their email Trash folders.
Filtering Outbound emails
Users can create rules to filter outgoing messages or sort outgoing messages that are saved in the Sent folder to other folders, to automatically tag messages, or forward an outgoing message to another address.
