Background

Secure Internet Storage Solutions is a privately owned Australian company dedicated to providing a number of leading edge “Cloud” technologies, software and consulting services to Small and Medium enterprises through-out the Asia Pacific region.

We were established in March 2006 on the Gold Coast, Australia. We are proud to be Gold Coast based, providing opportunities for local University students to remain on the Coast as opposed to traveling further afield to the nation’s capital cities.

Our evolution

We started out with a vision (don’t all great companies!). Our initial aim, deliver an affordable, offsite enterprise featured backup and online storage product to the masses! Over the years we have added to our original product line and as a result come across a number of great technologies in complimentary technology areas. These products were natural progressions from the online backup space and provide solutions in the Private Cloud and hosting spaces. These have proved invaluable to our clients over the years and have superseded our original backup and storage business.

In early 2012 we made the tough decision to leave our roots in the backup business and go all in for the hosted private cloud offerings. To this end we have formed a number of partnerships with Microsoft, Redhat and VMWare to extend and support our technology decisions.

Through our consulting services we are able to provide our clients with a number of options and capabilities through both Business Process Improvement process and bespoke and custom software development.

As with any business, we are nothing without our clients. We owe them a great deal of thanks for our success. Our clients come from a wide range of businesses and range from one man bands through to Mid Sized companies with > 100 staff. Our clients are at the centre of everything we do, from evaluating new technologies to ensuring that our existing systems and processes are and remain the best available to our client base.
