Secure-ISS Installation notes and downloads

Installing and setting up the Secure-ISS Explorer application involves a number of steps, which can be summarised as follows:

Download the software;
Install the software; and
Setup the software.

Downloading the software

The Secure-ISS Explorer software is available through a number of mechanisms. If you have been supplied with the software from a partner on CD or another media you can skip to the installing section. The software is also available for download during the Sign-up process (immediately after the account creation or at completion) or from the MyAccount section of our website.

To download the software from the MyAccount section of the website, login using your Master or Administrator username and password. When you login you will see two menus. The first is the standard website menu (Home, Explain Secure-ISS etc) and the second menu is marked Account, Billing etc.

To download the software navigate to the Downloads menu option and then click the Download Secure-ISS Explorer application option. From this page you will be able to select the version of Secure-ISS Explorer that is relevant to your operating system. Click the link Secure-ISS Explorer to start the download process. You can either run the program or save it to place on your desktop or download area and then execute it after the download is complete.

Note that on some systems you may receive a warning that you are about to run an executable file. You should acknowledge the warning and allow the file Secure-ISSExplorer_Setup.exe to run.

Installing the software

You should now have run the setup program and be at the first installation screen. At this point you should download our Quick start guide (if you haven't already done so).

The quick start guide will walk through the installation screens. The steps include:

acceptance of the End User license agreement;
collection of some information; and
installation of the required files.

Setting up Secure-ISS Explorer

Setting up the Secure-ISS Explorer software is also walked through in the Quick start guide. You will also require your Welcome letter at this point. Each of the steps for the Setup wizard are outlined in the Quick Start guide along with instructions on how to complete each of them. At the end of the setup you should have successfully setup the Secure-ISS Explorer application.
