As an example, for clients that want to backup their field laptops and/ or internal PCs Secure-ISS Explorer could be installed onto each of these with a unique user associated to each machine. The users' storage requirements would contribute to the company's overall storage capacity. The following diagram outlines this scenario. You can see that there are 9 users, each with the Secure-ISS Explorer application installed. Each laptop or PC backs up to the DSC individually. As an example, if the account was on a 30 GB plan each laptop or PC would have approximately 3.11 GB of storage capacity available to them.

In the event that a client has a data centre or cluster of servers and PCs, the following configuration could be employed. The client would create a user for the Server(s) and the PCs/ laptops and again install the Secure-ISS Explorer software on each of the applicable machines. The following diagram outlines this setup. (Note: A secured and dedicated VPN can be installed to our DSC upon request and for an additional monthly fee. Please contact us to discuss your requirements further) Where a dedicated VPN is not utilised an encrypted and secured software tunnel will be created by the application.
