Secure-ISS are pleased to announce the release of Secure-ISS
Explorer version 1.2.0.1. The new version of Secure-ISS Explorer
contains many additional features and user interface enhancements.
"We are pleased with this release and the additional features it
provides to our clients (particularly) in the Retail and Book-keeping
industries. We have received some good feedback from our customers and
partners on what areas they would like to see improved and the current
release reflects their input." Paul McIntyre said after the recent
release. "We are also working closely with software vendors in the
accommodation and retail industries to enhance our back up solutions through the development of user friendly wizards to automate our clients daily back ups."
Further to our ongoing development with MYOB and their
Accounting Plus and Business Basics software, Secure-ISS are happy
to announce their acceptance as an MYOB Add-on solutions
partner.
This partnership gives Secure-ISS a greater working relationship with
MYOB. This will assist us and in turn our clients with the improvement
and expansion of our products and services.
As we move forward in the development of our
Secure-ISS Explorer
application
we will be looking to further automate the back-up process for MYOB's
wide range of products. If you should have any queries or suggestions on
our products and/ or services please
contact us.
With the completion of the commercial component of Southport
Central Tower two, Secure-ISS have made the move into our new
offices.
The new facilities include:
- 24/7 onsite security;
- multiple connections to the power-grid;
- proximity to the telecommunications facilities.
The move was conducted with minimal downtime for our clients and
staff.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia -Technical Conference was held in Sydney over a three day period from the 8th -10th of October 2007. There were a wide range of topics covered during the 26 sessions with
accountants from both corporate and public practice in attendance.
For Secure-ISS the combination of having a stand and literature available for the duration of the conference was a great branding exercise. This provided an opportunity to distribute written information and liaise with attendees.
One of the highlights for Secure-ISS was when Paul McIntyre (Secure-ISS Project Manager) was asked to chair two of the
sessions where he was able to introduce Secure Internet Storage Solutions to the attendees.
The sessions were as follows:
The ATO’s Compliance Program for 2007-2008
- Presented by Jennie Granger, Second Commissioner Taxation, Australian Taxation Office
Deploy AASB7 Disclosure for Financial Instruments effectively
- Presented by Richard Richards CA, GGM Reporting and Tax, Qantas Airways Limited

Secure Internet Storage Solutions is pleased to announce it's
commitment to the new Southport Central development in Southport,
Queensland Australia.
To cope with our growing needs Secure Internet Storage Solutions has
agreed to take up space within the new Southport Central project.
The premises will have a dedicated data centre and comprise A-grade
office space.
"This is a sign of the strength in our business and the commitment
we are making to it and the greater Southport district. We look
forward to servicing our customers from the new premise in the very
near future", Paul McIntyre of Secure-ISS stated.
The Southport Central complex is located in the Central Business and
financial district of Southport. Seamlessly uniting residential,
commercial and retail space, the three towers of Southport Central
will be a striking tribute to a new direction in the evolution of
one of the Gold Coast's most established central precincts.
Currently the largest mixed use development under construction in
Australia, Southport Central is a $700 million development that is
leading the reinvention of Southport.
